OUR APPROACH

We believe that issues within a family system are not mended individually by its members, but as a whole.

Our first objective is the restoration of fragmented family relationships and the healing of individual wounds in order to create a more functional bond.

For those who are beyond repair and are moving to termination of relationships, our services are designed to reduce conflict and harm to the couple, the children and individuals directly involved and affected by the dissolution.

Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with emphasis in Marriage & Family, 2018

For more than 30 years Fatima Conley-Johnson, MS, NCC, LMHC has lived out her experience of working with and advocating for youth, families, elderly and individuals with disabilities in multiple settings throughout the Jacksonville Florida area. The essence of Fatima’s’ passion for Mental Health was her own reality as she dealt with years of being mentally and physically exhausted by depression and thinking and feeling those thoughts and emotions were normal. Being able to hold down a job, smile and appear normal to others, she suffered in silence. It wasn’t until Fatima was able to put into words to what she was feeling. With support from her family, she was able to get the help she needed to thrive.

Fatima holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Jacksonville University. Fatima comes from a wholistic perspective that encompasses mind, body and spirit. Fatima has a strong passion to help others by addressing the various challenges people may face from illnesses (mental and/or physical), isolation, substance abuse and/or traumatic life experiences. Fatima is uniquely qualified to work with at risk and vulnerable populations, especially youth. She uses that passion and clinical skill to assist and provide mental/behavioral health services to clients at The Resolution Center of Jacksonville Inc. and as a Therapist at a Behavioral Health Facility. Fatima is experienced in conflict resolution, crisis intervention, critical thinking, and DBT and CBT.
Fatima is currently accepting new clients.
